The War On Divorce movement exists to help couples learn to go to war for their relationships. It is our mission to help couples have a healthy and strong marriage and to help decrease the high divorce rate with a targeted focus on marriages in the black community. We do this by promoting and strengthening African American/Black marriages through biblically founded marriage coaching, Christian marriage counsel, recreation and celebration.
Research has shown that 42% of 1st marriages end in divorce; 60% of 2nd marriages end in divorce and 70% of 3rd marriages end in divorce. That number is higher in the African American community where nearly 52% of African American Marriages end in divorce and represents the second highest divorce rate in comparison to other races. We are declaring WAR ON DIVORCE to change these statistics one marriage at a time.
Our Vision
Reach the masses and educate them about God’s design for a biblical marriage, decrease the high divorce rate in targeted high – risk populations.
What We Do
The War On Divorce movement challenges and encourages couples to go to war for their marriage. We host conferences, create digital resources, offer group training and offer biblically based marriage coaching and counsel. We aim to equip couples with the necessary tools for a successful marriage – God’s way.
